A la fin de la lettre, je lui ai donné l'adresse de ce blog, en précisant que j'y parlais beaucoup de son groupe. Il ne viendra probablement jamais y jeter un coup d'oeil, mais bon, je m'autorise à rêver, en lui adressant ici quelques lignes. ]
Dear Mr McVeigh (I would have called you this way last Friday, if I wasn't so afraid to make a fool of myself by pronuncing your surname!),
La Flèche d'Or's gig was like a dream. As I already told you, it was one of the best nights of my life. First of all, I would never have dreamed of you reading my letter. And above all, I'd have never dreamed to get the chance of talking to you directly. You guys are so kind, so modest, so generous to your fans! we were all so happy to meet you that there are no words good enough to describe it. Thank you so much for this wonderful gig, the five of you were brilliant. Thanks for these fabulous songs. You guys made me fly again, and I'm still flying when I think about it. And thank you so much for being so patient to us, and especially to me, I must say! Sorry if I was perhaps a little bit too much insisting, I won't do it anymore. Thank you for the pictures, and thank you for the autograph on my Ipod, I'm so happy about it! I put some sellotape on it, in order to avoid it fading away. In fact, I would never thank you enough.
I'll be there for sure on next February 23th, and on next March 22th (I've bought my tickets), and I'll try my best to go to London on next February 11th.
